We traveled to Bohol
with 5 other volunteers to get scuba certified, with 3 of us getting certified while the
others got their advanced certification. We were able to get our certification while
experiencing the unique beauty over some of the best coral reefs in the Philippines. Lauren had a little difficulty the first
time under the ocean. Amazingly enough scuba diving can feel very claustrophobic, but after the very short freak out everything was smooth sailing.
The course requires 4 dives so we had amble time to see all the diversity
under water. One dive we saw four sea turtles, it's amazing how you
just want to chase them when under water. They are such peaceful,
magnificent creatures.
