Alan designed a two day program and this past weekend he led the Summer Arts Camp for 33 teenagers.  It was a two day camp focusing on how to make good decisions and the process of making them.  The kids were able to show their talents by acting, drawing and painting murals.  The ultimate goal was to paint 4 murals of what they learned on one of the elementary school walls.

The kids were amazing at all the different art forms and had a wonderful time interacting with Alan, Lauren and Terry (another Peace Corps volunteer).  The murals created focused on making good decisions with respects to child labor and staying in school.  The kids were amazingly creative; coming up with the designs, drawings and paintings all without help.  It was such a great event and hopefully it will be used by others.
