Today we finished our Peace Corps service and left Manila. It was a bittersweet day as we looked towards our new life and reflected on the past two years. Thank you to all our friends for making us feel so welcome in your country. Mahal kita.

Close of Service September 11, 2015

As we prepare to close or service today we are reflecting on where we've been, were we are going, and those who have given their life for us. Lauren and I visited the American Military Cemetery here in Manila. It is the largest American cemetery on on foreign soil and located is a peaceful and beautiful setting on a hill.

We found it to be a beautiful reminder.
